E did great this weekend. Such a different experience from the last time. She has been playing and eating great.
It feels like such a huge weight has been lifted. No more worrying how she is going to do through a rough treatment weekend. Only getting better from here! More color in her cheeks, more appetite and more energy!
She has been carrying her port around with her. She moved it from a small jar to a bigger jar for safe keeping. She is rather attached to it. I guess because we kept telling her it was helping her get better... She feels like it truly was an ally through all of this. But she does keep saying she's glad the doctors took "her" out.
We meet with the make a wish wish grantors this week! Very exciting. So nice to have this to look forward too!
