Today has been a rough day for little E. They finally got her pain under control early afternoon. She's watching TV, asking for snacks, wanting to play with her friends. The surgeon said all is still looking good. We are staying in the step down unit again tonight just as a precaution. Hopefully tomorrow some of her "fancy" tubes will come out and we will be able to get up and move around.
A good end to a very long several days. Now onto recovery from surgery and the pathology report. They say we may have it Friday, but most likely on Monday. We may go home over the weekend but going to play it by ear.
Oncologist won't talk treatment but did say the Chemo treatment side effects for Wilms (if it is Wilms), on a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high), is about a 3. Cautious optimism.
Hopeful for a more restful night. All of your love and prayers are felt and so very appreciated.
