Fever

E woke up today with a fever of 100.5. Her first fever since all of this started.

Immediately we called brenners. If her body is too weakened by the chemo she won't be able to fight an infection. The doctor was in her way into the office. She said to call back if the fever hit 101, which it did at about 4p.

The doctor looked at E's bloodwork from friday and said her counts looked good. She wasn't concerned about her being able to fight off an illness. (Phew no trip to the ER today) And we got the go ahead to give her some Tylenol. Boy did the Tylenol do the trick. She is feeling so much better. We will just need to watch her over the next few days to make sure she is improving.
