Heart to Heart

Tonight, as I lay in bed with Evelyn to keep the thunderstorms away, we had a 
little heart to heart. I told her about this Friday and how we were going to get 
more pictures of her bones and an ultrasound, which she relates to seeing 
pictures of me pregnant with audrey. She seemed okay with it. She said she has 
two babies in her belly. A boy (named Winnie the pooh) and a girl. 
 
Then I asked her how she was feeling and if she missed her friends. She said, "I 
do miss my friends. I want to get rid of these slugs so I can go back to school 
and see my friends." (when she is older and doesn't want to go to school I am 
going to remind her she once loved school!) 
 
She told me how the slugs were making her hair fall out. (she hands the strands 
to me when she finds them) I asked if that made her sad and she said it didn't. 
She knows it will grow back. 
 
How did she get to be so smart and so brave? 
 
On a lighter note: Kk came and played today. E was so excited to see her! There 
was a little melt down over sharing her dresses. E has control issues, ESP now. 
But otherwise a good time. 
 
And yesterday we went to visit the boys. She needed a little change of scenery. 
It was very exciting to have a new environment!
