Today was a "v" and "a" day which means lots of Zofran for E for the next 48 hours. So far she is in good spirits and playing with her princess dolls :)
The clinic visit was good. Everyone loves seeing E. She is always in a spinny dress and full of smiles. She painted little canvases for the clinic staff earlier in the week. She handed them out as we went around today. Of course, everyone loved them. There was a lot of purple in all of them. E's favorite color.
Two other side effects I have been meaning to post about: 1) her sense of smell is very heightened. She smells everything and lets you know if it is good or bad! The other day she said, "mommy, you don't smell like you." 2) her tastebuds have dulled. She craves strong tasting foods and salty foods esp salt and vinegar potato chips!
The picture below is E squeezing Nahna's finger. Nahna's dad used to have her squeeze his finger when she wasn't feeling well so he could see how strong she was getting as she recovered. Nahna has been doing this with Evelyn since we were in the hospital. E thinks it is fun. It really is a good way to gauge how she seems to be doing.
